Day 17 - Beach profiling

Yesterday I had a lie in in the morning and read a bit. At 14:30 Poppy, Steph, Talitha and I went to Levera for beach profiling to measure how the beach morphology has changed since the week before. The beach is now nearly entirely covered in washed up sargassum and we found a dead hatchling stuck in it that had dried out in the sun 🙁.

When we got back to the house it was Poppy and I’s turn to cook dinner, we made Vegetable topped Pizza. She made the main dough for our pizza base and I made the gluten free chickpea flower base for Talitha. The Pizza was quite yummy, could’ve done with a little longer in the oven I think but everyone else seemed to like it. We topped it with tomato sauce, cheese, pumpkin, onion, sweet corn; aubergine, bell pepper, tomato and pizza seasoning.  Before bed I read some more.
