Day 23 - Seven Sisters Waterfalls

Today Poppy and I went for a Hike to the seven sisters waterfall. After night survey I had a couple hours sleep and then at 11am Poppy and I left the house to get the bus from Rose Hill to Grenville. We then got a bus from there to the water fall. When we got there we had to write our names and the time and got given sticks to use to walk with. The security guy pointed us to the track and we set off. It wasn't a very long track and it was quite a pleasant hike. We met two American tourist couples along the way. When we got there is was beautiful. Poppy went for a swim but I didn’t take my swimming costume so opted out. Another security guy there made sure we were okay and walked back with us to the entrance once we were done.

We then had to wait a while for a bus back, two passed us but were full, finally the 3rd bus squeezed us in and we went to Grenville. We stopped off to buy some snacks and then got the bus back to Rose Hill, managing to get the driver to drop us a bit closer to the house.

I was head chef today. The food shop is being done tomorrow so my options were quite limited, I made a vegetable noodle stir fry with potato chips as a side. We were going to have soft boiled eggs as well but Steph and I couldn’t be bothered to boil them in the end... we were too tired. Marina arrived at 18:00 ready for dinner. She’s 18 from Oxford and hoping to go to Uni in York to study interactive media in September. She’s staying for 6 weeks so will be here for my final three weeks with me. After dinner I chilled, had a few iced teas and might head to bed soon.
