Greece Day 24, Day 25 and Day 26
We have been very busy the last few days! Friday I was on tube feed for the day as I was PM the night before so I spent most of the day blending fish and tube feeding turtles that needed it. I've got a lot better at it which is good. Vicky started resting on the bottom and started to dive more successfully which is amazing! Hopefully she'll continute to get better and be able to be released soon as her head injury is looking much better.
Friday night Adam was on PM so we stayed at the RC again and made Pitta Pizza again for dinner. We also go ice creams :)
Saturday Adam was on Tube feed with Stijn and I cleaned a lot of tanks and turtles. Sofia is in a big tank but she is too small to clean in a big tank when it is empty so we had to take her out so Adam went in bare foot in ankle deep water to get her out. I also did treatment and cleaned Elise who started eating again this week so we're really excited as the fishing line she had inside her is now out and she is looking like she will be able to be put in a large tank soon and prepared for release. We had fried eggs on toast and olives for dinner :) In the evening Adam, Niels and I got the tram into Athens and went souvenir shopping which was a nice evening out, we were going to go to a sky bar after but we were all too tired so went back to the apartment instead.
Today was a quieter day, We only had 6 tanks and turtles to clean and a School from the UK (worcestershire) who are on a scuba trip (so cool!) came and volunteered for a couple of hours, apparently they came last year as well so a few of them remembered and we got them to clean some tanks and help with the feeding. Adam and I cleaned Kosmos (he's one of my faves) the green turtle. I also was in charge of feeding Vicky and she started diving for food which is a really good sign, Dagne managed to get Camille to eat for the first time too so its been a good week for the turtles.
