Week 14 - FSC Millport

This week has entailed lots more weeding! We've made a lot of progress at the centre but we still have a long way to go, the car park is taking quite a long time because the weeds are between the gaps of the tiles and slabs which is taking a while for us to clear but its looking really good in the areas we have done.

I have also watched a few webinars this week, one of the Galapagos islands, one on Mollusc and Bryozoan identification, one on Echinoderms and Tunicate Identification and another on Sea Turtle Research.

If you've missed any of the Eco blog posts I've been doing for the FSC you can find them here: https://wildmillportfsc.wordpress.com/blog/ Theres also an option to follow the blog on the right hand side like there is with this one if you fancy!

The weather has been on and off this week, some days have been beautiful sunshine and we have taken advantage by cycling around the island, other days a bit more grey and very windy.

On Saturday we had a BBQ in the front garden in the evening which was nice, it was a very clear day and lovely weather. We even saw a Porpoise! Which was very exciting, it was my first ever Porpoise! I also baked Peanut Butter Oat Cookies which are quite yummy.

On Sunday morning we all joined together for a big Brunch was was a fun morning. Afterwards I went for a walk and then baked a Giant Nutella stuffed cookie which is verryyy yummy if I do say so myself!
