Week 13 - FSC Millport
This week we spent most of our time weeding around the centre, its a big job and is probably going to take us a longgg time to finish! There's not much else to report on really because we spent most mornings and afternoons tidying up the edges of the grass areas and pulling up all the weeds. We've still got a lot more to go though.
I've also watched a few interesting webinars on how plastic is affecting our rivers by NHM London and Porifera and Cnidarians by SeaSearch Divers.
I finished my report on how Fundraising through membership schemes can be improved and benefit the FSC as the current membership needs some improvement, we had a meeting about this on Tuesday with the New Eco Business Director of the FSC who seemed to be happy with what we had all produced which was good.
On Saturday I had a chilled day and caught up on some TV I had been meaning to watch, I was very tired from all the weeding all week, I baked some shortbreads which were yummy! Sunday I shampooed the carpet in the living room which took aggeees, and then baked some cinnamon blondies which I'd never made before but they are very yummy and cinnamony!
Sunday evening the four of us living here decided to have a roast dinner, I made the cauliflower cheese which was veryyyy cheesey (just the way I like it), Rosie made the honey roast carrots and quorn for us, Luke made the roast potatoes and chicken for him and Christina and Christina helped me do the yorkshires and she made a cheesecake for desert. It was a delicious roast dinner!
This week Christina did manage to catch photage of a scottish otter that I've seen once swimming near farland point which was very exciting! She's been trying to get them on camera for a while now and finally this time she found a good spot with lots of otter poo and left the trail camera out for a few nights and got some!
