FSC Millport Week 9
This week has been more of the same really. We've been keeping to a routine of 9am work Zoom meetings, a lunchtime walk to Kames Bay and 5pm exercise then Yoga.
I've been working on 30 minute eco activity posts for the FSC Millport Social Media Pages which you can find on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. https://www.instagram.com/fscmillport/?hl=en

This week I made bird feeders from plastic bottles and oranges. I made a Rain Gauge from a plastic bottle as well as eggshell gardens and bug hotel posts. I also watched a webinar by the Nautical Archeological Society which was interesting. The coal tits and the Great tits have been loving the bird feeders!
On Wednesday I helped Christina film a Rockyshore video for a university group and began editing lectures to swap all the photos to uncopyrighted images which is taking a while to work through.
On Friday I started an online course on Ecology and Wildlife Conservation which has been interesting and I'll be carrying on with that next week.
The weather has been all over the place this week but we've had some really lovely weather some days.
At the weekend I wanted to bake a lemon drizzle cake but there is no flour in the shops so I bought one of those kits you add eggs too and it actually turned out really tasty! I had a bit of a disaster though, it came out of the loaf tin in half. I'm not sure why because it didn't stick to the tin at all and the bottom came out fine. But I put it back together and pretended nothing happened and it cuts and tastes fine :) success!
