FSC Millport Week 25 & Week 26 - Ben Lomond
After our exciting trips the previous weekend I went back to work on the Wednesday and helped clear out what used to be the old Marine Stations diving hyperbonic Chamber building. It's being emptied to be used as a new classroom. There was lots of cool stuff/random things including some old dive gear.
On the Sunday Luke, Adam and I went to hike our first Munro! We made the journey to the base of Ben Lomond on the otherside of Loch Lomond to the Cobbler which Adam and I had hiked at the beginning of the week. The weather wasn't great and in the rain we ended up following a group of young guys up the wrong path and accidently walking up the Tarmigan first before hiking round to Ben Lomond which is the harder route! Even though we managed to take the harder route we still made it to the top of Ben Lomond which was pretty windy, and made it back down in just over 4 and a half hours. The views were really great.
The rest of the week we were busy getting ready for our first family course since lockdown in March which I had been very excited for.
